Recreational Vehicle Insurance

When looking at insurance policies, you might find yourself asking, “what makes a vehicle recreational?”. A recreational vehicle is a motor vehicle or trailer, that has living space in it. This includes motorhomes, caravans, campervans, travel trailers, and many more. You may not use these vehicles as much as your everyday cars and trucks, but they still need to be insured for your safety.

Recreation vehicles are required by law to have standard liability insurance, similar to what is required for your everyday vehicle. The Policy Center understands how important these assets are to you, and that is why we offer coverage plans to ensure they are protected. Contact our friendly staff today to get started with an auto insurance quote today!

Car Insurance Types

Types of Insurance Policies

The Policy Center offers a full selection of auto insurance, and specializes in higher liability limits. Our team strives to provide options that help you and your family get back on the road quickly and protected from designated financial burdens.

Full Coverage

Full coverage auto insurance provides coverage for most scenarios. This could include damage from the weather, hitting an animal, vandalism, or paying out the value of your vehicle if it is stolen.

Full Coverage + Expanded Coverage

Getting expanded full coverage includes all the full coverage features, but also adds towing, roadside assistance, car rental, and more.

Comprehensive Insurance

A comprehensive insurance policy has you covered if you hit a deer, a mailbox, or something other than another vehicle or person. This can be considered “something other than a collision” coverage.

Collision Policy

Collision coverage will cover the damage if your vehicle hits another object or car. It doesn’t cover non-crash damage. It isn’t mandated, but many lenders require it if you finance or lease your vehicle.

Liability Coverage

A liability policy means I am liable for a person and their property if I hit them when driving. Liability insurance is required in the state of Mississippi at a minimum of $25,000 per person (this is limited to a single accident), $50,000 per accident for bodily harm, and $25,000 per accident for property damage.

SR22 Insurance

An SR-22 is not an actual "type" of insurance, but a form filed with your state. This form serves as proof your auto insurance policy meets the minimum liability coverage required by state law.
